Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Clipopotamus (the "Service"), provided by Virtuance Digital Marketing Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. Your account

You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password safe. Team members you invite act on your behalf.

2. Tokens, plans and payments

• The Service uses tokens to pay for AI work. The token cost is shown before each action.
• Monthly plans renew automatically until cancelled. Plan tokens reset on each billing date and do not roll over. Tokens bought in packs do not expire while your account is open.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices exclude VAT unless stated.
• If a job fails, its tokens are returned automatically. Tokens have no cash value and are not refundable, except where the law requires.
• You can cancel your plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the paid period.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the material you upload (photos, videos, audio, logos and text) and of the videos you create, subject to the rights of any third-party material. You give us a licence to store and process your content only to provide the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to create content that is illegal, misleading, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that infringes anyone's rights. In particular, you must not:

• clone a voice, or animate or lip-sync a person, without that person's permission;
• create fake endorsements, impersonate others or mislead people about who is speaking;
• upload material you don't have the right to use.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. AI output

AI-generated results can be unpredictable. Check every video before you publish it. You are responsible for how you use what you create, including making sure adverts comply with advertising rules.

6. Availability

We work hard to keep the Service running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change features over time.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.

8. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may close accounts that break these terms.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
